The method

Somatic Flow Yoga combines accessible yoga with principles from somatic therapy and nervous system regulation.

The difference lies in how we move: within each posture, we repeat the same movement in a gentle rhythm, synchronised with your breath. No fast transitions — wave-like movements that give your body time to land and integrate.

The session

A session is not a series of exercises to perform. It is training for your nervous system — learning to shift between activation and rest, between doing and feeling. Every class follows the same four phases, so your body knows what's coming and can go deeper through the layers.

1. Arriving

We start with your breath. Feeling where your body is today.

2. Warming up

Gentle joint mobilisation and activation. Your body wakes up.

3. Moving

Rhythmic, breath-led postures that build strength and mobility. Wave movements in the same pattern, going a little further each time, because your nervous system reads repetition as safety.

4. Deep relaxation

10 minutes of guided body scan, carried by singing bowls and tinshas. Your nervous system gets the space to integrate what your body just learned.

  • No, all levels are welcome. My focus is on how you feel, not on perfect poses.

  • With most yoga, you move from pose to pose. With Somatic Flow Yoga, we stay longer with each posture. Not by holding still, but by rhythmically repeating the same movement with your breath. That predictable repetition helps your nervous system shift from alertness to rest.

    Three principles make the difference: → Breath leads the movement. You don't move and breathe alongside it, your breath sets the movement in motion. → Regulation first, mobility second. We ensure your nervous system feels safety before going deeper. That's why most people become more supple here than in yoga where they push harder. → Repetition as a settling force. A predictable rhythm is to your nervous system signals there is no danger and that you can let go.
